Experiment 20: Macaca mulatta previously infected with Plasmodium coatneyi Hackeri strain infected red blood cells exposed to a homologous re-challenge 11 months after the first infection (E01). Before the experimental infection, the macaques received an intravenous infusion of a water-soluble biotin derivative to determine the erythrocyte lifespan via daily quantification of the biotinylated cells using flow cytometry. Clinical, hematological, parasitological, and metabolomics measures were collected in the course of the infection. Please see the file 'E20TXXMEMmCoBiWB_02122018-Readme_MULTIPL_plasmodb.txt ' for a full description of this dataset and for instructions on how to access other datasets from this experiment.
