Inbreeding Drives Maize Centromere Evolution

High-resolution image files that display 20Mb in 1kb windows showing presence, absence and SNPs for 45 maize inbreds over all 10 centromere-proximal regions, based on unique 40-mer markers and GSS mapping data. These images could be processed to detect deletions. FASTA files containing CR1, CR2, CR3, CR4, CR5 and CR6 sequences used to calculate the centromeric repeat content of each chromosome. The CEN10 re-sequenced from BACs is provided in FASTA format and was used to determine centromeric repeat content and cenH3 density.
